Can anybody tell me how to install the latest video driver for
for my video adapter, "SiS 630/730" is it possible?
I am trying to run fs 2004 on windows 2000. Had no problem with
fs 2000, but won't run 2004 without update!
Thanks nooluv..........

Go to the SIS web site and download the latest driver.

nooluv,

The SiS 630/730 is going to be a little under powered for running FS2k4, you might want to think about putting in an AGP Card with some more horsepower.

I would recommend would be either the ATI 9600XT, ATI All in Wonder 9600Pro, or the nVidia GeForce FX5700 Ultra.

NAC. yeah you are right Richard! wouldn't run 2004.
Back on 2002 (which run's O.K. on my p.c.) until I can get an AGP card. Any idea what they cost? (In Stirling?).

Nooluv - I have an Xstacy ATI Radeon 9600 128Mb AGP card (8x) which I bought in the states 2 months ago taking advantage of the dollar rate and had it in my machine til 2 days ago when I put the Nvidia Geforce card back in cos I needed the TV in facility on the GeForce.

Anyhow that leaves me with the ATI card spare now and I paid $140 for it. Let you have it for £50 plus postage if you're interested. Am in Stansted Area.

Yes I'm interested! The only thing is I'm no p.c. expert. Would I be able to to fit it into a desk top system??
Just been trying to to get in touch with the guy who made my set up (not available) think there will be any problems?

nooluv,

As long as your motherboard has a 4X AGP Slot (which the SiS Chipset supports) you should be fine. The only thing that you might need would be an updated Power Supply for the computer to handle the extra load.

Thank's Richard. Is there anyway I can check this without asking the guy who built it?

nooluv,

Open up your Computer Case and look to see if there is a Brown AGP Slot. It will be between the White PCI Slots and the CPU.
