Hello,
Can anyone tell me more about the book CX gives to you after your first interview for study before second interview? (ie what level?)
Also, any recommendations for books to practice for the psycometric and other tests?

Way below HTBJ level!
More around PPL level.
IIRC, the subjects were:
Geotech Terms (as in maps n charts)
Aerodynamics
Weather/Met
Engine
Systems
Instruments
Hydraulics
May want to do some outside studying for Engines and Met.
2nd round test is numeric test+psy test. Some good recommendations here:

HBTJ (Handling The Big Jets) level... HTBJ is a fanastic book but the level of knowledge is more directed towards direct entry S/Os and F/Os. Cadet applicants would have no requirement to know anything in HTBJ. HTBJ is the main book that the interviewers ask technical questions from (again DE S/Os an F/Os - not cadets).
