Anyone seen the new RAF officers' career management strategy pamphlet Very professional looking - glossy, coloured and clever little graphics to help us understand the difficult concepts involved in career management. Bet it cost a packet! Have a look at page 5, the middle row of the table has a typographical error - the term "air risk" instead of "air rank". Hang on - my mistake, the terms are interchangeable aren't they? Anyone else spotted any typos in other publicity material or official documents??

My favourite was a letter sent to me from the USA when I was at Farnborough. It was adressed to the 'Rural Aircraft Establishment'! Maybe they knew more than we thought......!:D :D

Hi minieng!

WTF is 'Corporate Directorate'? Sounds like something from the Ministry of Administrative Affairs......

Can you imagine the likes of Les Rodda trying to pronounce it, let alone understand it?

That's only because I lost a couple of thousand during a PPRuNe server upgrade!

Hasn't flat rate 'always on' Internet reached your part of the world yet, MrB?

Les Rodda - a kind, helpful and amusing man who took me for my first ever military haircut in Sep 67 and then spent two and a half years reminding me where the barbers was!
