Known Facts:

The aircraft was a PA28-161 (9M-BDB) owned and operated by Capt. Nasir Ma Lee a retired RMAF helicopter pilot. He succumbed to his injuries following the crash shortly after passing the Batu Caves reporting point.

There is one survivor, the passenger who had requested Capt Ma to take him to Kota Baru.

The cause of the crash will be determined by an inquiry.

Condolences to the family of Capt. Ma

Yeah read about the crash. 9M-BDB. A friend of mine told me he had been in the aircraft before. Said there wasn't any ADI in the thing!

Capt. Ma was a very well respected pilot and a great person. Please don't use this forum to talk about that which you do not know. The facts about the accident will come out in due time.
The only appropriate comments at this time are condolences to his family and many friends.

well...

my apologies if i stated something "that which (I) do not know". The missing ADI was from what a friend of mine said he saw at an airshow 2 yeats ago; i.e. nothing to do with this tragedy. I won't elaborate further as it won't do anyone any good.

My sincere condolonces to the family of Capt. Ma. Never knew him personally, but I do have friends who did. He was a good man.

(Perhaps the topic starter should have stated that this topic to be used for condolonces only on his first post, and not "What is the cause and is this due to human error? Info on the topic PLEASE". I was merely replying.)
