Hello everybody,

I would like to ask on behalf of a friend, if anyone knows the approximate start salary of an already type rated ERJ145 First Officer by Luxair.
What other benefits includes a contract with this company?
Every fast reply will be highly appreciated, because my friend needs to give an answer untill Monday 15 March.

Thank you all, in advance
Bonman

I guess you want to leave Bonair exel then for greener fields.... good luck!

On the money side: no idea but must always be better than at any Exel group company!

3300 euros before taxes if you start on level 1 (after 6 month at 2500 euros : training salary). 13 months + premium (getting smaller and smaller).

I don't kown if they still take into account your previous flight experience. One rank salary for every 1000 hours.

On year 5 you are almost at 4000 euros before tax. (taxes rather expensive for a single, get married!)

80 to 85 hours / month. 10 days off/month. 6 weeks of paid hollidays.
No overnights. Mostly 4 legs every day.

No promotion forcasted. (at least in the next 20 years, no kidding!)

****ty atmosphere for the time.

Hi bonman

That means your friend has received a job offer at luxair as he already has a type rating,
because I finished a very long and hard selection for luxair 1 year ago and they put me on a waiting list (non type rated young pilots).
Since that time I never had any news.

If they now switched they recruitment policy in favour of the type rating guys that means i could still wait for a very long time:{
I also know that most of the guys who organised my selection do not occupy key role in the company following a big reorganisation in the training department by the luxair managers (following the f50 crash).

If someone has more info about the current recruitment situation, they would be more than welcomed, thanks

No news on the hiring, especially now during the summer.
Might be you will need to wait a bit longer, since I didn't hear anything about f/o's being upgraded -who's seat you would have to get-.
Good luck!

Jost look at what Flying Coyote said!
He's right!

And for temporaries: normally only a few on the 737 for a couple months.
Still not much happening though with hiring people on a permanent contract.
We also have a new staff now, so I am totally unaware what the future -regarding candidates- will look like ie. preference for experienced+type rated or ab-initio.
Anyway good luck!
