Having just migrated to XP pro I seem to be missing a trick with profiles.
In the old days of W98 all the users of my computer had different profiles in which they could setup desktop, screen resolutions, e-mails etc without interfering with each other.
Now under XP we all have our log ons and all have administrator rights ( which may be the problem) but if one sets a screen resolution it effects all and whilst e-mail profiles seem to collect the right e-mails, e-mail rules seem to effect all or none.
And of course as we all have admin rights we can all see each others files
what is the best way to set up profiles so that all users can install programs but keeps the setups to individuals.
congrats to team on the new servers, hope all goes well on the 14th
