I would think, based on the other posts here that they are only looking for type rated pilots. Its a new airline and so it comes with all the risks. But they call themselves the National Airlines! It would then depend on how mush $$$ the oil baron is willing to throw in. The pay package is not listen in their website. Good luck and keep us informed on your application!

My friend just came back from an interview yesterday!!! Everything is OK!!!! but the at the moment the situation are unpredictable & uncertain. Basic higher than EK & benefits are about the same too. 2 A330 & 1 340. Evertyhing you have to do by your own. Company has strong back-up ..... only close shop if Abu Dhabi no more exits in this world.

Plenty of school in AUH. But the education allowances not as good as EK. Primary $12500 & secondary $18500. The best international school in AUH will costs more, we have to top up another a $$$$$. Other schools are not recognized by UK or US. GOOD LUCK .... KOMBAWA

Interview seems to have changed a little, now fairly technical, why does this do this, how does that work, etc, all very friendly but the questions do come. sim ride again kinda tricky, lots of man thrust and raw data, but ok.
Looking for 120 pilots by year end, with about 10 planes if they can find any! 777 on hold for moment.
Nice guys, good luck.:p
