Hello!

Does anyone know a current recruitment email-address from ethiopian airlines?

Does anyone know how the working conditions are, salary, living in Addis Ababa with family etc?

Thank you for your help!

Don't have info on ET but Addis is OK for families. No malaria, reasonably cheap to rent decent accomodation. Altitude takes a bit of getting used to so don't try to run up stairs as soon as you arrive.

Interesting country if you get the chance to travel around, food is god awful though...

PM me if you're travelling, I'll be in Addis for most of this year & will help out where I can.

Cheers

Gee ! I wonder where you ate when in Addis ?
Please tell us .
During 2 1/2 years operations into HAAB , I found most
restaurants offered good food at reasonable rates.
I tried over a dozen .
It also depends on your "standards "
This is Africa after all.

Addis is OK, when you wander outside it slips, just an opinion.

No stranger to Africa btw, somewhere around a dozen countries at this stage.

Can't beat the steak down your way:ok:

So far ET only hires Ethiopian nationals to positions within Ethiopia. As for the pay, it is low low low!

As for living in Addis with a family etc, it's great as long as you do earn a good pay. Unlike other posts here, there are no issues with the food - it all depends on the establishment you chose to dine at (even in the 'West', I have come across a number of places where the food is inedible, notably in the US).
