Some of you may have read my recent post where i talked about how I was refused a Class 1 due to my 'poor' vision acuity on right eye.
I thought I should start a fresh post where others may benefit by this who are in a similiar situation to me.
Today I received the CAA reports which said my vision in right eye is 6/18 and which is why they failed me. I dont know exactly how bad 6/18 is.
I have taken two independant eye tests recently (and going for another one in a few days time). These eye tests showd my vision in right eye is 6/9, together 6/5, left eye 6/6.
For all i know is with 6/9 in right eye I meet the CAA requirements.
I am no willy-nilly person who fancies being a pilot. This is the one dream and ambition ive held since childhood, Im 18 with a PPL and not willing to give up this easy.
But I need your practical advice on what to do now. I will be going for more eye tests this week. How do I go about appealing to the CAA, what shall I do :confused: ?
