Always remember when you're away on duty to Logout after your session.....

You never know what IT geek gets on the machine on a drunken state and finds you still logged in - even if you have logged off your machine. :}

No argument thereRazor; but I can go even one better. A few months back I went to the local library to log onto Pprune and when I did found that the computer I was on was already logged in with someone else's user name. What made it even stranger was that the librarian said that no-one had used that computer that day!!:uhoh:

I'm no computer nerd, but I think when you log on a "cookie" is down loaded which logs you on automatically next time that computer accesses PPRuNe.

I think I saw on the Admin forum, where changes have been made - for the reasons above - that automatically expires the cookie after a certain time period - 24 hours?
