AIRWAYS or AIRLINES

Does anyone know if QANTAS has renamed itself to QANTAS AIRLINES? It has always been in recent times (after QEA) - QANTAS AIRWAYS LIMITED, now i read a note from John Borghetti the Executive General Manager of QANTAS AIRLINES (referred to numerous times throughout the letter).


Soon QANTAS will not exist as Australians have generally known and loved it, its reputation already declining, but in the short term a few managers will have a nice fat wallet.

Qantas Airlines is one of the new "business units" that was announced last year. Essentially, it deals with all Mainline operational issues. The parent company is still known as Qantas Airways Limited. It's all on the website if you're really interested!!
