Danger areas in the UK are numbered from the south-west corner to the east coast around London and then start again at the west side with a jump onto the next 100's. Eventually you get into the 600s and 700sor more. Some of the danger areas are very small, such as around a rifle range, so it is easy to miss them. Some are also included within or as part of a larger area. Once you have found an area then using this pattern you can usually work up or downn to find the one you want.

Or, to put it another way, any danger area starting with 0 (D001, D002, etc) is between 50°N and 51°N - numbered from west to east. Areas starting with 1 (D100, D101, etc) are between 51°N and 52°N and so on.
