Interesting out-of-the-way airports.

I would like to do a dream GA trip around the USA, visiting out of the way nature (lodges, lakes, mountain lairs etc) flying museums, restaurants at airports, or anyplace out of the ordinary
that you have to recommend. I have 2 weeks to do it in, so it has to be good.

What sort of airframe are you planning to strap-on? Got a geographic prefereence? Also, do you need pavement?
