Has anyone heard of Royal Tongan Airlines expansion plans into A340-500's? Matangi news in Tonga report difficulties in achieveing the market penetration they need into North America and Europe. There is no detail on delivery dates or number of aircraft, however, they plan direct flights to New York city, Frankfurt, London, Paris and Amsterdam. This will allow their high yield customers direct entry into the Kingdom. This flies in the face of pacific blue's and Air pac's plans to increase relatively shorter haul but increased frequency flights into the pacific. Let's hope it works for the tiny country
