G'Day

Just wondering from those who have done the ATPL Human Factors exam/courses , would the red covered Bob Tait book (Human Performance and Limitations) be enough or is the best bet to go with the Aviation Theory Centre's book (Trev Thom.).???

Advice much appreciated.

That's what I used and passed no worries. Although doing an aviation course we did human factors at uni also but i still think the bob tait book is enough.

Don't know the trev book.

I used the Tony Wilson book, and then the Rob Avery practice exam: No problems with either and passed comfortably.
Good Luck

I used both The TT and Bob Tait books and found that they were enough for a pass, but not a great one. (I got 77% - in October last year).

You should also be familiar with the more noted airline disasters in recent years. I had questions on the DC-8 undercarriage/running out of fuel over Portland, the 747's at Tenerife, and 737 in the Potomac. (the Mac Job Air Disaster series were useful for info).

DIVOSH!
