According to RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents), there were 12,000
incidents last year of people slipping and landing on wood.
This is being partly blamed on the trend for
people to replace carpets with wooden floors in the home.
People wearing socks, or the 'trendy' floor-dragging trouser bottoms are falling over.
ROsPA refer to these accidents as 'trouser-related mishaps'! Is it just my odd sense of humour that thinks this an amusing term? :E

So, the question remains, "Have you had a 'trouser-related mishap' recently??" :O
PS According to their stats, there were 7,000
injuries relating to zip flies!! :oh: :oh: :oh:

Would trying to let rip a sneaking quite one that ends up requiring a change of underwear count? Sounds more like a trouser-related mishap than falling over.

Only if it involved a change of trousers as well!!:*

I once (in a former occupation) caught my trousers on the key of an open till!
It ripped a large gash in a decent suit! :\
It was an accident, honestly - or at least that's what I told the judge!! :=

Reminds me of the bathroom scene with Ben Stiller in "There's Something About Mary", "we gotta bleeder, here"

:uhoh:

Picture the scene.

New Year's Day. 17 years of age. Waking up to find myself on someones sofa. Totally unfamiliar place. Vague memories of a girl.

The memory starts returning. Said girl walks passed and informs me that i was really drunk and she took me home. Mentions that her parents have been awayfor a couple of days and will be back in a few hours. With that her parents car pulls into the drive and she jumps up and runs upstairs. Leaving me alone downstairs. Her dad walks through the door. I panic and decide that standing up to shake his hand might well diffuse the situation.

My Trousers fall down infront of this girl's entire family.
I got my coat :{ :(
