A simple question, can Bordeaux be your gateway airport?

The "general" rule is that the gateway must have two large carriers that operate all year (ie. mallorca is not allowed due to the lull in carriers in the winter). I know of pilots in Toulouse that are finding positioning difficult (they have to go via Paris), due to the recent failings of certain French carriers.
Hope that helps,
G

At least it was accepted a few years ago, and still used by a french pilot based over there. But, yes, more than 50% of the positioning is via CDG. (good for your AF frequent flyer program.....).
So I suppose that it's still accepted.
