Dont know if its the same for you navy chaps but QRs for the RAF QR 3170-QR 3182 lay out our redundancy terms, here's the gist of it
3171. Special Capital Payments. Sponsor:SPP(Pens)
(1) Subject to paragraph 3171A, the amount of the special capital payment will be equivalent to a number of months pay as follows:
(a) Officers with at least 13 years qualifying service:
Uncompleted portion of career Special capital
to normal retiring age payment (Note 1)

1 3
