The Daily Mail last Saturday (7th February) was advertising that Britannia/Thomson are now offering daily flights from London-Gatwick [LGW] to Malaga [AGP] and Palma [PMI].

Any more information?

London-Gatwick instead of from london (coventry) ? Illegal portacabins and muddy field carparks perhaps not up to thomsons usual standards?

....and according to Jasper Carrot, Coventry is the only airport with a cattle grid at the end of the runway..........

Jaspers been to Coventry before.

He means the road running close to the end of runway 23 that sometimes gets used when jets have overshot.
I've heard Cov airport want to traffic light that road as they've used it that often they think they've acquired rights of way!

If you look up the Thonson Flights website you will easilt be able to see their schedules for the summer. A good example is a daily service LGW/AGP. Prices in July start at £29.

Like the Thomson flights website, but I thought their comment that we have redesigned our planes was a bit over the top - they only repainted them, which they are about to do again, and again.....

Now Thoma Hawk stop playing fast and loose with the facts.

That road has been used once in the last 8 years to my knowlege and that was by a turboprop not a jet
