So the offer has been removed or has Mr Sharp suddenly got a sense of morality?

Or was it the realisation of the irony in that he expects new pilots to drive around nice cars in which to look for work that they have to pay $100 per hour for the privilege of undertaking.

Or, have the positions been filled?  :yuk:

Maybe Windy and/or Woomera realised that what Sharp Aviation were advertising wasn't actually a "job".

I wonder what has happened to the 'current' Air HongKong, a Cathay owned B747-200 freighter airline, running side-by-side with Cathay freighters.
They were/are very good CFM powered 74s, I was there when they were bought in, left about a year after CX took over, it all turned to sh*t!

Just wondering!

Air HongKong was completely bought out by Cathay a couple of years ago. Cathay last year went into partnership with DHL using Air HongKong to set up a regional airfreight company. The end result is that the old Air Hong Kong was combined into Cathay Freight and the new Air Hong Kong will be the “new” regional airfreight division. The old CFM 200’s are now part of the Cathay Freight division. Air HongKong are currently wet leasing an A300-600F until their own freighters (6 x A300-600F’s) arrive later this year and early 2005.
