I've just received a very odd letter from my flying pay insurance provider. It tells me that it is switching companies to provide mandatory life cover as well as flying pay insurance cover.

It's a bit cheeky really - I'll decide if I want life cover or not. So, I will look elsewhere for flying pay insurance cover.

Anyone got any recommendations? (yes, the nights just fly by in my house etc  )

They're probably just offering a standard loss of income policy that includes life cover - check the small print as we still get paid our basic pay if we lose flying pay - might find that they don't pay out on the new policy unless there is a total loss of income.

My FP ins is with British Aviation Insurance Group. It's a civvy product that insures against loss of flying license but it has an extra clause in for us military chaps. About the only thing it doesn't cover you for is an act of gross negligence:oh:
