PROVISION OF WEEKLY AIR SERVICES TO REMOTE AREAS OF AUSTRALIA
REQUEST FOR TENDER
TENDER NO. L2003/1129
The Programmes Group (Transport Programmes) wishes to engage air operators to provide a weekly air service to remote areas of Australia, under the Remote Air Service Subsidy (RASS) Scheme, for the period 1 July 2004, to 30 June 2006.
Separate tenders are sought for each of nine remote regions of Australia as follows:
Region 1: Pilbara (WA)
Region 2: Kimberley (WA)
Region 3: Channel Country (SA/ QLD)
Region 4: Cape Barren Island (TAS)
Region 5: Cape York (QLD)
Region 6: Gulf Country (QLD)
Region 7: Northern Territory – North of Tennant Creek
Region 8: Northern Territory – South of Tennant Creek
Region 9: Desert NT/WA/SA
Interested air operators are invited to request specifications for the above tender from the Department.
The above tender closes at 2.00pm (Canberra local time) 20 February 2004
