anybody know anything about an outfit called mid-airlines? i saw one of their planes in the dead of night at khartoum.what & where do they fly?;)

An Egyptian carrier I think? <....or was that Midway Airlines?>

no,i think the egyptian carrier you're referring to is Midwest (an odd name for an egyptian airline),but this seemed to be an an-12 or something similar?

Have had the pleasure of flying Mid Airlines - they are somehow linked to Spirit of Africa and started operating around 15 months ago using F50's doing KRT - PZU on a daily basis;

Then they dopped off the scene, but came back around Xmas time on same route, but now have dropped it in favour of long term oil related work, though rumour is they are looking for other equipment (737-200's) to restart scheduled services;

Original F50 (/'s) was on Dutch register, but believe current a/c is local;

I said 'pleasure', & yes compared with other carriers around here they are a pleasure to fly with;

Rudas, how many of those small complimentary bottles did you have by the time you got to KRT ??
AN12 looks very similar to Fk50 ???!!! Eishh, those White Horses must have been good!!:}
