Any idea why a Euralair and and Excel Airways B737-800s were parked at remote parking at LMML?

Wasn't Euralair declared bankrupt a couple of months ago ? Don't know if they continued operations though... whatever, the Euralair aircraft could be parked for that reason?

As far as the Excel AW 737 goes...who knows.

Just a thought, presuming Euralair still operate, could have been some sort of private charter that the two airlines operated and the aircraft stopped over for a day or two?

I also thought Euralair gone under a few months back also...acft probably returned to Lessor and in short term storage and/or awaiting maintenance at Air Malta/Lufthansa Technik

You may have been thinking of Aeris who I believe went bankrupt a few months ago.

Two of the Aeris 737s are parked at Southend Airport minus engine bite. However I have seen at least two ocassions when a group have had a look over them so presumably the owners require them flying asap.
