To all those out there that understand the meaning of LAND-please explain?

If I am on a overwater flight and the water is shallow, does the ground under the water count as "LAND"?
If I land on a sandbar, does that count as "LAND"?

I gues it's just another one of those CASA rules that can be interperated more than one way:}

Land basically means a place where you can land without damaging your helicopter. Thus a pointed rock in the sea won't do.:(
