Men with GUNS on planes

OK, you might get the idea that I dont like the idea of armed Sky Marshals on aircraft and I note on another thread (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=117787) that we are about to have this on services to and from the USA.

What I am wondering is if there has been any actual use of Sky Marshals so far?

I haven't seen any reports good or bad about them since they started operations.
