Accordinfg to someone another forum with contacts at Manchester Airport, the airline will be stopping at Shannon again for all their US and Canada flights, can anyone confirm this.

If true, the loafers who run Shannon airport will be beside themselves with glee - their joy at seeing Cork damaged last week by the demise of Jetmagic and now this manna from heaven with the potential arrival of PIA transits.

A bit strange this, word at Manchester is that ALL transatlantic flights will be stopping at MAN soon amounting to 58 flights a week. !! including services previously operated from BHX using the new B777s
... we in MAN thought they were ALL coming here !

A "friend" in Servisair gave me the list of XXX-MAN-XXX 5 weeks ago, 58 flts/week.
Checked in AMOSS [MAN Airport Operating System] 50flts/week.
