Hi, all
I am considering to undertake my PPLA training in oz. I have recently heard of Chopperline. They offer both Helicopter and fixed wing training. I would like to know:

1. What is the training quality in PPLA and ground school?
2. How about the professionalism of instructors?
3. How about CPLA training there also?
4. the living expense in oz.

I appreciate any information you can shared with me.
Thanks

Check the Chopperline site out.

As far as all the answers above ,you cant go wrong. One of the best schools in a great place.
Cost of living not too bad.
They put you in a share house, the price im not sure of,but around $50 a week .Can cook at home ,or some pubs have a 2 for the price of 1 meals ,so you buy one night and a mate buys the next.
Glass of beer around $2.50 ,carton of beer (24) around $30 ,packet of 30 smokes around $10 ,average pub meal around $12 ,pizza $8 ,macdonalds $6.
If you dont drink and smoke and chase the local talent you could probably get away with $200 a week living on a shoestring budget, but allow at least $300 to be safe

My son was there 5 years ago and didnt spend much-----thank god.

CPL-H ,but included a PPL-A.
Thats the cheap way to do it but then you dont have enough helicopter hours to get a job.
Hes up and away now but its only seasonal work.
