Hi all
has anyone any informations about the new upcoming low cost airline WIZZAir?
They will open up a base in Budapest, Hungary and in Katowice, Poland.
Have heard rumors about english investors.
News about Planes, Pilots etc. ?

They will commence operations May 2004 with at least 2 A320-200 aircraft leased from a large European Lessor.

hello everyody,
this is my first msg on this forum. I have just signed up.
Regarding WIZZair - they plan to start services beg May from KTW, PL and end of May from their second home base in BUD,HU. They plan to start operations with 9 A320s and they wish to add additional 20 a/c in the next 12 months. Actually they are looking for cabin and cocpit crews for KTW and BUD bases. Yes, WIZZair plans to serve CLR. I have ready about it today... It was also annouced that APN (Air Polonia) will serve CLR 6x weekly - 3x from WAW, 3x from KTW begining SUmmer season.

Pilot:
min 3000 flth
min 1500 flth as a captain of multiengine & multimanned a/c
min 500 flth on jets
ICAO ATPL
Fluent English
preferably with A320 experience
Co-Pilot:
min 300 flth
min 100 flth on multiengine & multimanned a/c
ICAO ATPL or CPL
Moderate English
Flight Attendant:
Fluent English, other languages a plus
Higher education
Preferably with some work experience
Entusiastic, dynamic, client oriented
interpersonal skills
phisically fit
shift work
