Job opportunities in Aus.

Hi, Im looking at relocating to Australia to be near my daughter and am looking for potential jobs.

I have UK ATPL(H) + IR, instructor ratings, a military background and a great variety of experiance. Im in my late 40s.

Could some one please advise me as to what the job situation might be, is my age against me, and what I would need to do to convert my license from UK to Aus? Is a JAA license of more use to me?

Hi ,

With the experience you have , getting a job should`nt be much of a problem, BUT the problem you have is that getting a residence visa , if your daughter lives there then i`d suppose she would love to sponsor you.

Australia immigration has really pulled there belt in , unless you have a specific skill they require.
