Just notice on Qantas 737-800 - VXJ on the port side of the fueselage....on the external side from the left forward door to seats 7 Alpha/bravo/charlie. There appears to be dots...like slight punctures in the side of the aircraft at random spots. To be honest it looks like someone has taken fire at it! Does anyone know what those spots are????

sorry for hijacking the thread...no idea what that may be - but will keep an eye out for that particular a/c.....

Saw a QF 737 at YPPH today, had a sticker or decal on it that had 7(5?)th Anniversary on it.... at the rear of fuselage but before the red part. I thought QF had 75th ages ago.... is it Boeing's then? If so, why don't all of 'em have one...?

Just bein' nosey.... :E

I think it's the 75th anniversary or celebration of Aviation. Not the airline or boeing.

Yes please look out for VXJ its' definately dotted!
