Any employee's of AV8air, anyone, out there, that can help!! Me & my friend are flying from NCL-TFS, on AV8 in July.

I,ve just went onto the booking website, and keyd in our dates, but no flight deals show for these dates. The earliest dates are for August, and are operated by Excel Airways.

I also went to another website address, that I know sold, AV8 flights, but there is no sign of anything....are they in trouble.....or do we think everyone is just updating for S04 ?

Cheers :{

I just had a look at the various web sites for the CT2 group, totally CRAP aren’t they?

I think the company must do most of its business through travel agents and bucket Holiday Company’s bit like Air Scotland. I know most of the flights operated last year with other airlines, so we shall have to wait and see. Some company just cannot get a grip of the Internet!

Would agree with the last post. CT2 and LocoFlights sites are not up to much. Tried to search for flights BHX-TFS many times before and the only dates it returns are way off what I requested!!

Dont rely on those websites!

Ive just returned from TFS flying from GLA booked via CT2 and had no problems. Infact I only wanted a short break and went for only 5 days. Something a lot of other tour operators were unable to help with. I would use them again.;)

Has an AOC been issued to AV8AIR yet?

All revenue flights as far as I understand (please correct me) have so far
been operated using the Icelandair AOC on the 767 aircraft only. Has the
757 operated any revenue earning flights since it was delivered on
November 25?

CT2 have in the past booked customers on other airline's e.g. MYT, AMM,
MON etc. With the creation of AV8 the company is obviously looking to
bring some of that work in-house. Maybe this is going to be primarily a
summer operation, as the 757 rarely moves from MAN, apart from training flights.

Hands up! Who chose the call-sign 'Pennine', which was immediately
suspended after the delivery flight of the 757, when it was realized
that there was a confliction with local 'Pennine Radar'. Surely guys,
being locals you would have known that :uhoh:

Company's three letter code is MNF

BTW two earlier AV8 threads were started but these have now sunk to page
9 and beyond, if anyone is inclined to search.
