How about a PPrune Tie pin or badge.
Or for those sad gits a T shirt.
Just a thought.

I will be near the EC130 wearing a bowtie and reading the business section of the financial times......

We should try and hook up for a beer or 5?

I live here and will be so cheap that I will probably bum a pass from some one. So if I say hi and my blond/grey hair does not match the name Muhammed Whatever, dont be alarmed.......
Somehow we will be doing a BBQ for a few at my place. Just have to Keep Ned from all the Purple Haired Ladies at the Seniors Center.
Also hoping to see a South Afircan Contingent, but Money is always tight there.
I have tested all the Pubs in Vegas and know where one can get good Meals, cheap Liquor and cheaper Women. Plus most of the rest of the Tour Toads will help out fellow Pilots for rides etc if your stuck at hotels.
My email is good if I can help anyone find things. BUT, please do so well in advance. Rooms fill up in this City as We do a lot of Conventions. Weekends, the Californians take all the rest.

Footnote. Try this if your not on Company Expenses.

I'll be there, probably hanging around the major manufacturer's stands, ie Sikorsky, EC and maybe Bell.

A tie pin (or something to wear on a jacket) would be a good idea. Anyone??

I am a starter for sure.
Myself and a buddy are incoming on the 14th or 15th and flying out on the 18th.
A get together is a must.

FYI:
I spent a lot of time last night checking out hotels etc and came up with the Sahara as a pretty good option. $50 usd a night twin share. Hope my mate doesn't snore...
As for rental cars, I think we will be flogging around in the Chevy Metro 2 door. About $110 usd for the 3days with the discount off the HAI site.

Airfares internally seem the best with Spirit. Has anyone else got any ideas for flights or used the HAI discount?

And how much is it to get into for just the stroll around....

I'll be there - haunting the Fly-It Simulator booth. They kindly let me flog my book there last year in return for some help with their sim. Not sure of booth location - look for the crowd I guess.

We have Pleanty of those for sure and Nevada has Legal Cathouses just over the Hill in Pahrump. They take Dollars, Pounds, Yen, Francs and MasterCharge. Now just dont let the wife see your bill......
However its buyer beware, those gals make more than our whole Helicopter Company........
Good Luck

Bert:

Don't take them to the Crown and Anchor - you meet all sorts of weird helicopter pilots there.

For any pprune rotorheads who will be in Las Vegas at Heli-Expo, drop in to static display booth S4 (Flyit Simulators) to say hello.
Ray Prouty will also be there from time to time. Check the board at the booth for details.

Well only 3 sleeps to go!
I will look forward to perhaps seeing you lads in Vegas. Perhaps if PPRUNErs who want to swap stories and beer check in with Ned at Heliops we can make a plan throughout the days.

I am there from Monday to Thursday morning. Look for a guy with Canadian Helicopters EMS shirt on: colour: blue.
Tap me on the sholder and I promise I won't bite.

I also am sharing a car and plan to see the canyon. Would love to fly over it (hint ... hint Bert!) Happy to share if needed.

Safe flights and travels,

Steve76
PS: staying at the Sahara. will post room # on monday.

That can be arranged. But I only fly for the company. I can get some better rates if you are serious or maybe standby if there are empty seats.
Anyway, if I can help anyone give me a shout, Im in the phone book and the cell is 702-682-9613. No Promises, but I will try.

Well, the show looks good so far, in the set-up phase anyway. We flew in yesterday lunchtime and are all set-up now. I guess that means I will have to play around Vegas now?

Good selection of aircraft throughout the show and looks like it will be pretty busy - some cool stuff here this year!

Already seen a large number of old friends and a few PPRuNers too! How about that! You never know who you are going to meet here.

Come by and say hi - I'll be with the Kamov KA-32 in the static display - I told you there was some pretty cool stuff here! ;)
