Just wondered if anyone had heard from BMI BABY since their ad in Flight a couple of months ago?
Negative Frank, whats more I was able to name an emplyee for a reference and offered to pay for my own type-rating. In future I'm going to include the offer of providing my own aircraft and cabin crew just to increase my chances.
I bet when you joined CHIPS you didnt have to provide your own motorcycle!

Almost same situation as mjr...except I could not name a guy at BMI (the one I new was laid off after 9/11).
But I am willing to bring 2 airplanes into the company and pay also for my semi-annual checkride in addition to the TR.

I could name someone, 737TR and a few hundred on type. Guess what, heard no more!

I know of three of guys who've been offered positions, all have 737 TR's and have line experience.
