Hello all you lovely boys and girls.
The lady who is already essentially Mrs p-k-b has agreed to actually become Mrs p-k-b (yay! :D )
But we're having a bit of struggle with the Honeymoon and need you super guys and gals help to understand a few bits n pieces.
Firstly, I have a KLM Platinum card with lots n lots of Miles on it. Mrs p-k-b fancies Hawaii as the destination, departing end October, back to Europe mid November. I put the award request for 2 C-class returns from Europe to HNL in to KLM in November '03. They entered it into their system in December '03 but have only just (about a week ago) officialised it by sending the request to Northwest, as it is they who would be doing all of the long haul sectors on behalf of KLM. Now I've been told lots of different things by the KLM agents as to why it's taken them this long to officialise the request.
And I and Mrs p-k-b are gravely concerned that we will not now make it due to the delays at KLMs end, mainly due to the fact that American clients will be booking the US to HNL tickets long before we got a chance to.
Does anyone have any idea what the real situation really is in these sorts of cases? Should Mrs p-k-b and I give up and get KL tickets to LAX or SFO and purchase onward tickets from there to HNL?
Is all lost? Pls someone with KL or NW experience tell me it isn't! Please, oh please!
