Does any one know of any Beech 1900 operators in the UK?

UK airlines mainly operate J31/32s as 19 seaters and I only found that:

EUROMANX, Ltd
3W / EMX (Subsidiary of Woodgate Aviation Ltd)

Ronaldsway Airport, Ballasalla IM9 2AS, Isle of Man

Tel: (1624) 82 21 23
Fax: (1624) 82 43 71

Email: [email protected]
Web: www.euromanx.com

Flights are operated in conjunction with ROSSAIR EUROPE & its subsidiary TTA-Trans Travel Airlines (PH-) & using TTA’s IATA Code 6N.

PH-RAR Beech 1900D Airliner UE-372
PH-RAT Beech 1900D Airliner UE-350

Both operated by ROSSAIR in EuroManx-colors.

As far as I know they haven't been hiring on the beech1900 for a while. And they charge you for the typerating if I am correct about € 35,000. There are a couple of other 1900 operators in Germany and France. Not that much 1900's in the EU:(

Aviation Assistance in Denmark opperate several 1900's. They operate on contracts for various relief agencies in Afghanistan, Middle East and Africa. Don't know if they are hiring, but if you're rated, they might want to talk.

O:ok:

Here where I live I have several B1900's at various times of day. They passover my house at 2000ft agl and about 275 knots, and still managed to touch down perfectly at the field about 6nm. They have incredible agility and are supposedly nice to fly (if as you note too, are as ugly as sin, with bits stuck everywhere, presumably for aerodynamic purposes)

PS Most Cessna's have the wings on top and the tail at the bottom - are you not thinking of a Tomohawk?

not for Great Mistakes;)
The be1900 is effectively a very handy plane, very reliable enginewise and very quiet inside compared to the Metroliner3.
Every time i swoped from the metro to the beech i felt like i didnt need to wear an headset anymore...
On top you have a head rest on the beech..none in the metro..
The 1900 is made for single pilot ops,but for pilots who drink a lot of coffee not to fall asleep as its so comfy..

mj..say that again in plain english please..i dont get it seriously..im a foreigner...Whats CP and launch a career in "very short order"?
Gracias,

Antiskid..275 kts at 2000ft may be bit too much(253kts is Vmo and i believe they do foloow Fars..) even for great lakes guys..but 250 to the OM is no problem on the beech.
But its true that they tend to fly fast and low especially over the swimming pool of their chief pilot at the time:=

CP =Chief Pilot.

Very quick upgrade and lots of flying.:ok:

oh yeah....just for the record....Vmo=248kts, with the Overspeed CB in. Da mighty Beechlanda!

the C model or the D one...for the 248kts?
Maybe the san antonio tube has the 253 Vmo..but im rather sure its 1900C..whichever they both still fly..one being faster thatn the other one:p

No cbs for overspeed in our ACs..10kts over barberpole was a habit with some people..including the owner who didnt mind exceeding Vmo into Cbs:\
Glad I got out of this place early enough to survive and glad i made captain before he killed me:rolleyes: ,otherwise he was a great pilot.

for the upgrade,i upgraded to single crew when i reached 1250 hours(1000 on type)
You know its your turn to be on the left seat when you capt goes to sleep on the jumseat or in the freight nets when you are about to start the descent to a major US airport,Cincinnati in that case...
