Hi
I have just read on PPJN.com that Britannia have ordered new aircraft. I was wondering if anyone knows what type of aircraft they have ordered?
When i was there there was talk of A330's or 767-400's.

Thanks in advance

Dave

I know this doesn't really help but i can't find anything about it on the tui, britannia, boeing, thomson fly or airbus websites. The only thing i could find was on the tui website saying hapag lloyd express will increase its fleet by one aircraft this summer. Doesn't say anything of which type. Assume it must be a 737 on lease though.

there were rumours in flight about 8 months ago that tui, britannia, hapag lloyd group of companies were planning a fleet replacement review in the near future to phase out the a310 and the britannia 757 fleets for something more common to both airlines.
replacement aircraft reported to be in the running include the airbus a330 and also the a321.
but most proberly it will be more 737ng of the 800 variety.
