Hi guy's/girls,

I have my ppl about one year now and im half way through the dreaded atpl exams .. I hope to be finished the exams by the summer , i was wondering what you guys out there would advise me on what you think my best route would be then .
I personally think that doing my instructor rating next and the cpl and multi at a later stage would be a good idea ! what do you reckon ? delboy..:\

hi,

better to check regulations again.
My instructor in Belgium told me one was not allowed to exercice instructor privileges before one has a CPL
Which means, you are not allowed to be paid to fly unless you have a commercial licence.

I would suggest the normal route of PPL-CPL/IR-ME before even thinking of being instructor.

Being an insturctor is about one topic : instructing people.

If you are only a low hour PPL you have to be a very good pilot if you want to give tuition, becouse people can do very funny things in airplanes (can be very scary if u'r not prepared).

enyway, good luck with the exams.
