Having long since abandoned IE as it is basically trouble, I finally got around to trying Mozilla. It is great - basically Netscape without the nasty presents. It also seems to have less trouble than opera with a number of the secure sites like banks. 10/10 recomendation from me

There is a great inertia with browsers. In many cases it is simply the thing that came with the machine and it works.

You'd be amazed at the proportion of our users who have still never knowingly made a download. It is very worthwhile though and these browsers are free.

I also abandoned IE, Netscape and Apple's new Safari - in my opinion, Mozilla really is the best browser out there, although Camino is also quite good.

I just downloaded Mozilla firebird and thunderbird. Both look like cool programs. Both seem quite nice and user-friendly, but I struggle to create a short cut and find it a little annoying to go to the unzipped folder and then open the program from there.
Anybody got any advice for me??

126,7 - Have a look at this link (http://seb.mozdev.org/thunderbird/) for Thunderbird, and this link (http://seb.mozdev.org/firebird) for Firebird.

Here's a question for existing Mozilla users:

How easy is it to download a complete web site so that it can be viewed off-line?

(I'm just an old fashioned cheapskate looking to reduce my on-line time and consequent telephone bill!)
