Has anyone else noticed how our wonderful Meejahh constantly refers to the 'WTC attacks' on 11th Sept, but appears to have forgotten about the attack on the US Mil HQ in Washington...??

Hundreds died there also , but our brave chaps (Lunchtime O'Booze, Phil Space etc etc :D) watching CNN never mention it....

They are constantly harping on about "civilan casualties" but don't seem to be too worried about Military casualties.

Any thoughts anyone...?

It was interesting to listen to reporters from two different US tv networks describing the Pentagon attack.

The first said that the difference between the military evacuation and the civilians fleeing from the WTC was marked.
He said the military knew exactly what to do, where to go, and completed their evacuation in an orderly disciplined manner.

The second reporter said that everyone fled the Pentagon in panic !.

Been wondering about that myself recently - and the more poignant deaths when the fourth plane crashed.

Those brave passengers and crew willingly risked and lost their lives to save others - but where are the accolades, the remembrance services. Yes, it was horrifying and tragic what happened at the WTC and the Pentagon - but that unseen act of supreme sacrifice should not be overshadowed because it didn't crash into a target.
