Just reported on the news that the police airwing has been sent to Southern Cross to investigate an ELT activation.
not very many aircraft around those parts.

Try an airport halfway between CUN and SCR. Lots of potential accidents wainting to happen. They regularly go between there and SCR and WAVE ROCK.
Hopefully it is only an accidental activation...perhaps a heavy landing?

lets hope it was a heavy landing or a camper inadvertantly activating one.
Anyone have any more info?
