The Bristol Evening Post reported today that Air Southwest is to commence a Mon-Fri Dash 8-300 BRS-JER route from 2 April 2004, in addition to the Manchester and Plymouth routes from BRS announced earlier.
This means that from next April there will be a daily Flybe flight (commencing end of March), as well as the existing daily BACx flight, in addition to the Air Southwest initiative. Furthermore Aurigny announced some time ago that they were applying for a JER-BRS-JER route licence and, according to their website, they hope to commence their service from next spring as well.
This means that the route will go from one operator a day to four, assuming Aurigny do commence their route.
Is there suddenly such a demand for this route or has someone miscalculated?
