EZY5222 LEAL - LGW emergency descent south of Barlu 1120 today. Nothing more known.

38,000ft loud bang in flightdeck, crew note FO's side window has failed on the inside at least, masks donned on flight deck, emergency descent, safe landing at Gatwick.

Good job all round. Aircraft a -700 now having window replaced.
