Well we haven't heard much from either of the Mr Smith's lately. Perhaps with two "possible" NAS related NMAC to look at they are using the tried and tested tactic of hiding in the bunker?

I would invite both you gentlemen to answer a couple of simple questions...
1. What tangible benefits will NAS deliver to the travelling public and aircraft operators?
2. What evidence do you have that NAS is not less safe than our previous system? Please don't return to the hyperbole of "it is based on the proven US system" this simply ignores the parts of their system that we have not adopted.
3. What are your thoughts on the two recent close encounter "incidents"? Are you comfortable with the statement that "as there is no seperation standard there was no breakdown in seperation"? So how close is too close?
Perhaps other PPRUNE posters will refrain from posting on this thread, unless you wish to add some questions, and we can all wait with baited breath.
