the medical?

im not too sure? but i have been accepted to go for a medical. but im not sure what they require me to have.

i have a cold @ the mo so should i wait untill i am better plz help

to those who have already dont the medical what vishion strength is required.

Squire, not sure about going with a cold, from common sense, I'd say if it's bad, postpone the medical. It will also depend on whether it's a Class 1 or Class 2 and in which country.
As for vision requirements (assuming this is a medical for JAA licences), all this information can be found at http://www.caa.co.uk but from memory, Class 2 vision limits are to be able to pass a standard near and distance vision test with or without glass of maximum prescription ±8.00 and to have colour vision, being colour blind doesn't necessarily mean you will fail the test.
For a Class 1 it's similar except for you probably can't get away with being colour blind and the limits on prescription are +8.00 to -5.00

I had a cold and phoned up the CAA, they put off my medical for a week. This was for a class 1 exam.
