I know it's been done before but I can't find the topic ( I can't do a search on pprune but I want to be a pilot!)
I am leaving for Tanzania very soon and I am wandering what to take in terms of clothes etc... I am a rookie so any suggestion is welcome. Cheers.

Go back a few pages on this forum, you will find quite a bit of info on places and recommended packing...
My experience of Tanzania - it's HOT, it's HUMID and mozzies carry you away at night if your not careful...
Oh, and hide your pounds and US$ - prices go up 1000% as soon as 'foreign' money is smelt...!! (mind you - standard 'Africa' practice nowadays)
Ah, question - are you planing on doing your flight training in Tanz - if so, WHY...?
If just a holiday - get Malaria tabs, get a yellow fever inoculation (mandatory) and cool clothes (also time of year dependant..).
Check with a bigger (read; Africa experience) travel agent on the rest, they should be able to advise on these and other requirements.
