Feliz Navidad y Prospero Aņo Nuevo (Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year) to all pilots in/from the Caribbean and Latin American region.
May Christmas be a time spent with Family and loved ones, and in thanks for what we have. May the new year bring world peace and better opportunities than those of 2003.

For many, many people 2003 was very far from being a good year.
I would like to echo PJ's good wishes for 2004 to all readers of this forum.

I miss getting to South America but can't get China Airlines to fly past MIAMI even though a lot of the freight comes from Taiwan to MIA and then down your way. Had a lot last week northbound out of LIMA back to TPE and HKG.
So if you can get the people of South America to buy more things from Asia, then I'll buy you a beer in some of the good S.A. cities sometimes.
In the meantime a number of Brazilian pilots started at China Airlines last week. They were on the 737 and a few from before were trained on the 747-400.
