Hi All,
A friend of mine wants to come to the United States of America to do his flight training on a M-1 visa.Just was wondering whether a TOEFL score is compulsory for applying for a M-1 visa
or is it upto the school to decide whether or not TOEFL is required.Would be grateful for any help on this matter. Thanks in advance & Happy Holidays!!

I don't recall that anyone has to take a TOEFL test UNLESS he/she doesn't have English as a first language.

*If they live in a country that has a native language like Danish, Norwegian or anything other than English then they will unfortunately have to take that test.*

* Unless of course they just recently moved to another country, i.e. born in USA and then moved to Norway etc.*

*And if anyone doesn't know this yet, TOEFL means Test Of English as a First Language. (If memory isn't failing me).*

OneIn60rule,

TOEFL stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language.
