Hi all,

I just sent in my application for the Cadet Pilot Programme, after seeing the ad on SCMP, but reading some of the messages regrading to this year's Cadet Pilot interview, my heart fell.. It sounds like there will be no more interviews this year and all candidates for next year's courses should be decided by now ....

what am I going to do .....

btw, is there an unofficial upper age limit to get into Cadet Pilot Programme? Cos I've been working for a few years already after graduated from university... I'm kinda worried about being too "old" to be a cadet ....

Thanks

You shouldn't be too worry. I have seen people at around 26-30 interviewing with Cathay. There are 3 courses every year. You are not going to make it for the first course but you will have the chance for the other two.

To jontyrhodes:

Thanks for your encouragement.

From the other message you've posted it sounds like it is a 3-months process for the complete interview.

Anyway, good luck with your flight grading and please do tell us how it is !

:D

To lepetitprince:

It was posted *approximately* on the 6/12/2003 on the front page of one of the ClassifiedPost's sectons, if my memory serves me right.

By the way I think they have taken the "no more recruitments" pop-up off the web site for some time. So download the forms and lodge them in !

And good luck to all of us who have already applied !!!

Cheers,
