Greetings this is my first post here.

I've been flying 135 for the past 5 five years in alaska and a total of 8-9K hours mostly in C-207's and PA31's. I'm 47 years old incident accident free.

I'm willing to go anywhere to fly.

Is it very likely for any 121 carrier to pick me up and stick me in the right seat of a jet without any previous jet qualifications?

I refuse to go to work for slime like the mesa air group.
Are there some other realistic venues to pursue this idea?

thank in advance, axle

Try Corporate!

I have met someone who flew 6000 hrs on Beavers or others float-types before getting a Lear 35A and a lastly a Falcon 50EX job.

Another one who flew 8000 hrs on BE99 before getting a F-27, F-28 and then fly corporate on the Falcon 10, 50 and later 50EX.

Both were very happy with their corporate job (no charter).

One in Seattle, the other in France.

Delta new hires' average flight experience, back in 1996 I believe, was around 4000TT, 1000 Jet time. So if you're not crazy about regionals (and I understand this) , the corporate world will bring to you the turbine experience you need.

You might want to check out Executive Jet, they are large corporate charter company based out of Columbus Ohio and fly Citations and Hawkers (and yes they have a large fleet of aircraft).

I'm not sure if this is the correct web site:
